What we do

What we do

Since 2017, V5Initiative has focused on the Venezuelan humanitarian, political and environmental crises that are impacting the hemisphere and is tackling the myriad of issues that must be considered as we envision a ‘day after’ the so-called Bolivarian Revolution for the country and the region.

V5Initiative offers consulting services to non-profit organizations that focus on the environment, human rights, democratic and universal values, character education, as well as promoting and networking with intellectual and social entrepreneurs in the Americas who wish to work together in these areas. We lead and support broad initiatives that promote better and more informed policy making and governance at the national and international level, to promote and empower the involvement of individuals, NGO’s and the private sector in matters of public policy through the dissemination of information that will raise awareness and invite action.

We act through two key programs:

SOSOrinoco

SOSOrinoco: Exposing environmental crimes and illegal gold mining that threaten biodiversity and human rights in the Amazon. Amplifying Indigenous voices and defending territorial rights through cultural preservation and legal empowerment.

VE360

VE360: Exploring Venezuela through geospatial data to promote transparency and citizen oversight.

Since 2017, V5Initiative has addressed Venezuela’s humanitarian, political, and environmental crises, aiming for a future beyond the Bolivarian Revolution. It provides consulting services to nonprofits working on human rights, the environment, democratic values, and character education.

The organization fosters collaboration among social and intellectual entrepreneurs across the Americas and supports initiatives that promote informed policymaking and civic engagement.

Through its work, V5Initiative empowers citizens, protects ecosystems, and supports Indigenous communities. With additional support, it seeks to expand its impact toward a more just, informed, and sustainable Venezuela.
